ANTI-DISCRIMINATION=20 POLICY
SEXUAL HARASSMENT = POLICY
ANTI-ABUSIVE=20 BEHAVIOR POLICY


It is the=20 responsibility, policy and intent of Peachtree = City=20 Youth Soccer Association (PTCYSA) to provide all = players, members, coaches, volunteers and = employees a=20 soccer and work environment free of all forms of = abuse,=20 discrimination and harassment. Abusive behavior, = discrimination and harassment of any kind by any = player,=20 member, coach, volunteer, or employee within = PTCYSA are=20 unacceptable and will not be tolerated within = the=20 association. PTCYSA hereby affirms its = commitment to=20 maintain a soccer and work environment free of = all types=20 of abuse, discrimination and=20 harassment.

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT = OPPORTUNITY=20 STATEMENT
PTCYSA is committed to = equal=20 employment opportunity and employs all qualified = persons=20 without regard to race, color, religion, = national=20 origin, sex, age, handicap, or any other = classification=20 protected by federal, state or local laws. If an = individual feels he or she has not been treated = in=20 accordance with this policy, he or she should = contact a=20 member of the PTCYSA Executive Board. PTCYSA = assures all=20 employees that no individual filing a complaint = will=20 suffer any retaliation as a result of their=20 complaint.

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION=20 POLICY

Any abuse, discrimination or=20 harassment of players, members, coaches, = volunteers and=20 employees on the basis of their sex, race, color = of=20 skin, age, disability, marital status, national = origin,=20 religion, or creed by anyone in the association = is=20 prohibited within PTCYSA and is a direct = violation of=20 PTCYSA policy and potentially a violation of = both state=20 and federal civil rights laws.
Examples of=20 discrimination include, but are not limited = to:
1.=20 Abusing the dignity of an individual or employee = through=20 insulting, degrading, or mocking remarks or = conduct=20 based upon an individual=92s sex, race, color of = skin,=20 age, disability, marital status, national = origin,=20 religion, or creed;
2. Threats, demands or=20 suggestions that an individual=92s status or an = employee=92s=20 employment status within the Association is = contingent=20 upon the individual=92s or employee=92s = tolerance of any=20 abusive, discriminatory or harassing = behavior;
3.=20 Subjecting an individual or employee to = demeaning and/or=20 degrading activities in order to gain = acceptance, e.g.=20 hazing;
4. Imposing disciplinary action upon = an=20 individual or employee on the basis of race, = color of=20 skin, age, sex, disability, national origin, = religion or=20 creed;
5. Taking action concerning a player, = member,=20 coach, volunteer or employee on the basis of = that=20 individual=92s sex, race, color of skin, age, = disability,=20 marital status, national origin, religion or=20 creed.

SEXUAL=20 HARASSMENT POLICY
Sexual harassment = in any=20 form by anyone within the association is = strictly=20 prohibited within PTCYSA. For employment = purposes,=20 sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual = advances, requests for sexual favors, and other = verbal=20 or physical conduct of a sexual nature when = submission=20 to or rejection of this conduct explicitly or = implicitly=20 affects an individual=92s employment, = unreasonably=20 interferes with an individual=92s work = performance or=20 creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive = work=20 environment and is a violation of Section 703 of = Title=20 VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. = However, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for = sexual=20 favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of = a sexual=20 nature toward any individual within PTCYSA under = any=20 circumstance, employment or not, is against = PTCYSA=20 policy and will not be tolerated. Further, this = type of=20 conduct shall not explicitly or implicitly = affect an=20 individual=92s team membership, playing and = training=20 opportunities, coaching opportunities, volunteer = opportunities or any other aspect of = participation=20 within PTCYSA.

Examples of sexual = harassment=20 include, but are not limited to:
1. = Requesting or=20 offering sexual favors in return for job = benefits,=20 playing and training opportunities, coaching=20 opportunities, or volunteer activities;
2. = Repeated=20 acts of cornering, patting, pinching, or = brushing up=20 against a person=92s body that is sexual in = nature;
3.=20 Open speculation or repeated inquiries about a = person=92s=20 sex life;
4. Jokes, remarks, or innuendos = that are=20 sexual in nature about a person or women and men = in=20 general;
5. Displaying sexually explicit = material in=20 at PTCYSA activities and the work place. =

ANTI-ABUSIVE=20 BEHAVIOR POLICY
PTCYSA is committed = to=20 providing a safe and respectful environment for = all=20 players, members, coaches, volunteers and = employees, and=20 to preventing abusive behavior in any form. = Abuse of any=20 kind, whether physical, sexual, emotional or = verbal, is=20 prohibited within PTCYSA.

Examples of = abusive=20 behavior include, but are not limited to:
1. = Physical=20 abuse: striking, hitting, kicking, and = biting;
2.=20 Sexual abuse: indecent or wanton gesturing, lewd = remarks, indecent exposure, and any form of = sexual=20 contact or inappropriate touching;
3. = Emotional=20 and/or verbal abuse: making threats, mocking = behavior,=20 demeaning behavior, insulting remarks, or = repeatedly=20 making abusive statements toward an individual = that=20 inflict extreme mental anguish and are a serious = mistreatment of the victim=92s feelings and = emotional=20 needs.

Any=20 allegations of abuse, discrimination or = harassment=20 should be reported in writing to a member of the = PTCYSA=20 Executive Board. All allegations will be = investigated in=20 a confidential manner and no individual will = suffer any=20 retaliation for filing a complaint.

It is = the=20 responsibility of PTCYSA to make a reasonable = effort to=20 prevent all forms of abuse, discrimination and=20 harassment from occurring and to take immediate = and=20 appropriate corrective action when harassment = has=20 occurred.
PTCYSA affirms the right, in = accordance=20 with this policy, to discipline any player, = member,=20 coach, volunteer and employee, who engage in = abusive=20 behavior, discrimination or sexual harassment.=20
