Halmi was hired by Peachtree City Lazers Soccer Club in May 2008.

Halmi was formerly the Director of Coaching of the Manatee Magic in Bradenton, FL. 

While at Manatee, Halmi has been the head coach of the Manatee Magic ’91 Boys team for the last four years, and has worked with the boys and girls U9-U12 select ages for four of the past five years.   For the last five years, Halmi has also worked alongside former United States U-17 Men’s National Team Head Coach, John Hackworth. 

Halmi, has also been the head coach of the Southeast High School Seminole Boys Varsity Soccer team since 2004.  He led the Seminoles to multiple district finals and the school’s first regional final.  Halmi was the Coach of the Year for the 2007-08 high school season.

Halmi has a 28 year playing background that has included professional and semi-professional playing experience in his native Hungary and in the United States.

Halmi holds the USSF National "A" License and the USSF National Youth License. 

Halmi and his wife Gail have three sons, Brendan, Connor and Ishy and reside in Newnan, GA.
