As a coach, Duck started while at Murray State, Duck coached the local high school girls and boys soccer teams.  Duck then coached during her first three years as a teacher at Pike County High School.  After becoming a school administrator in Clayton County, Duck was unable to coach on the school level, so she coached in the Boys Select with the Coweta Cannons.  Duck took a group of boys from U9 boys team through U13.  After the Spring U13 season, the team was promoted to Classic II and was the first team to achieve this in Coweta County.

Duck currently hold the USSF "D" license and the NSCAA National Youth License and carries her Grade 8 USSF referee license.  Duck obtained a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia in May 2006.
