Jones is one of the founding members of the Lazers soccer program. He has more than 27 years of coaching select soccer at all levels. He currently holds a USSF National “D” license, and an AYSO “Advanced C” license. He has coached in Pennsylvania (1979-1983), Utah (1983-1987) and Georgia (1987-current). He is a past holder of an AYSO referee license.

 

Jones played soccer in school, the United States NAVY and competed in the NATO sports program.

 

Jones has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Anne, live in Peachtree City and have four grown children who all played Select soccer at various clubs. He owns and operates a local sign company.
