Sewell is Peachtree City Lazers Soccer club staff coach and has been part of the coaching staff since the fall of 2005.
Sewell as a player represented various youth clubs, played at county level and was also a member of the Sunderland School of Excellence, before moving on to play in local Leagues for New Brancepeth WMC.
As a coach, Sewell has experience in England with the City of Durham Boys focusing on the Academy ages, as well as all of the club’s goalkeepers. Sewell also served as the assistant coach at Brandon United, a Semi Professional Club in England, during 2003 and 2004.
Sewell came to the US in 2002 with MLS Camps as a Player Development Officer and has worked in Texas, Ohio, and the New England region. Chris has also worked in the New York Red Bulls development program and is currently the Assistant Regional Manager for the Southeast covering Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Sewell has obtained the UEFA Level 2, FA Junior Team Manager Award, NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas, an NVQ Level 1 in Sport and Recreation, and possesses the Community Sports Leadership Award.
Sewell is a native of Durham, England and currently resides in Newnan, GA.
