The Peachtree City Lazers will conduct a High School Prep Camp to prepare players for the upcoming 2008 season. The camp will be conducted by the Peachtree City Lazers coaching staff and will include the following aspects:

- Lecture and/or training session with a College Coach
- Invitations to all area JV & Varsity coaches to attend one evening’s training session
- Fitness testing utilized by US Soccer
- Demanding Fitness sessions
- Intense Tactical training sessions (thirds of the field; playing out of the back with 4 defenders, etc)
- Functional sessions (Role of central midfielders in a 4-4-2, etc)
- Goalkeeping sessions

This week long camp will not only prepare you for the upcoming high school season but it will offer some insight into what the requirements are to compete at the collegiate level as well.


Tentative Program Schedule

Monday 7:00-9:00: Fitness Testing (Invite HS coaches to visit the camp)

Tuesday 7:00-9:00: Functional Training

Wednesday 7:00-9:00: Fitness Session

Thursday 7:00-9:00: College Coach Lecture with Questions/Answers

Friday 7:00-9:00: Tactical Session

Goalkeeping sessions will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights separate from the field player sessions.
